Bayswater is a pleasant and quite cosmopolitan area near the north-western corner of Kensington Gardens. It is mainly residential, but it is also knows for good restaurants of different ethnic styles. Big part of Bayswater is occupied by expensive houses and residential buildings. The main streets in Bayswater are Queensway and Westbourne Grove.
Bayswater Station is located approximately in the middle of Queensway (near Inverness Place). It is served by District Line (Edgware Road branch) and Circle Line. On both lines it is between Paddington and Notting Hill Gate.
Bayswater Road runs east-west all the way along the northern border of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, from Marble Arch (east) to Notting Hill Gate (west). It passes Bayswater (district) in the south in its western part. Bayswater Road is part of road A402. It has very frequent bus services.
