Stockholm Cityterminalen Bus Station

Stockholm Central Bus Station is named Cityterminalen, literally The City Terminal in Swedish. It is situated next to Stockholm Main Train Station (Stockholm Centralen). Together, these two stations from the biggest public transport hub in Stockholm, the main stop for long-distance and local trains and buses, and the terminus of almost all airport transfer trains and buses.

Stockholm Bus Station Location

Stockholm Bus Station and Main Train Station are located in the district of Norrmalm in the city centre, next to Gamla Stan (Old Town) and about 5 minutes walk from Sergels Torg (main square) and Hamngatan (shopping street). Stockholm Bus Station is located just north of the main train station. The two are separated only by Klarabergsviadukten (street) and they are connected with a pedestrian tunnel.

Metro (T-bana)

The metro station at Stockholm Bus Station and Main Train Station is named T-Centralen. T stands for Tunnelbana (or just T-bana), the Swedish word for metro. T-Centralen is the only station in Stockholm Metro network that has access to all metro lines.

Stockholm Bus Station and Main Train Station occupy quite a large area and there are several local bus stops nearby, all with easy access to Cityterminalen:

You can find all the necessary tourist services (including ticket offices, luggage storage, foreign exchange, toilets, tourist information, restaurants, and shops) in the huge terminal building, which has two floors and 19 bus gates.
